When Kim needed branding images for her social media and website, we knew this project required careful planning and a collaborative approach. Kim is a therapist and the owner of Steady Hope. She wanted to highlight her role as a safe, empowering presence for her clients while conveying a relaxed and comforting atmosphere.
We started the process by creating a mood board with Kim, mapping out the visual direction of the shoot. We discussed her wardrobe options and created a shot list together, ensuring every detail aligned with the image she wanted to project. This preparation set the stage for a seamless photoshoot, where everyone was on the same page and ready to create something special.
The shoot took place at the Steady Hope offices, where we captured a range of lifestyle images. From headshots to candid moments of Kim working at her desk, interacting with her bookshelf, and even in session with a “client,” each shot was designed to showcase her as a calm and supportive figure. We also photographed her sharing tips with a fellow practitioner, further emphasizing her role as a mentor and leader in her field.
The direction and encouragement she received made her feel confident and capable, and the planning we did beforehand allowed her to relax and focus on being herself in front of the camera.
